I Wait for Time

I wait for time.
I wait while I read and read.
I wait while not reading too.
I wait for time.

Sometimes with understanding,
Sometimes without it.
In either case
Do I wait for time.

That time will come
I know:
Knowing it indeed
Do I wait for Him.

Sometimes sitting inside
Indoors among the letters,
Sometimes sitting outside.
Within the bounds of the horizon
Beyond the courtyard
I wait for Him.

While waiting for Him
I never sit idle:
I think, I move here and there,
I walk and stroll around
Sometimes struggling with the ugly reality,
Sometimes battling with nightmarish dreams.

Waiting is fulfilling too,
Especially waiting for time.
